The tighteners or stretchers can be screwed with a ratchet, wrench, spanner, or impact wrench (not included in the scope of delivery). The 4 claws of the clamping jaws provide for an optimum hold and prevent the spring from slipping or gliding off.The spindles of the spring compressors are 320 mm (12½″) long each, and, together with the square drive of ½″ found on both sides, 355 mm (14″) long each.
