TR202 2 Stages Counter Top Water Filter 0.5µ Filter

This system has been specially developed to make usable slightly polluted water by an easy and quickly way. The water filter is very low-priced and easy to assemble and handle. With regard to quality and filter performance this system corresponds to those that are offered singnificantly more expensively. The system depends on the usedfilter inserts, the solution for almost all water impurities. The offered water filter is supplied with a 5 µ activated carbon block filter insert that filters out ozone, pesticides, rust, chalk floating particles and chlorine and reduces the concentration of heavy metals such as for example, lead and copper (2nd stage). The 1st stage is supplied with a 0.5 µ pp sediment filter cartridge that filters the input water to a sediment thickness of 0.0005mm (0,5 µ) and that removes effectively bacteria, germs, spores and viruses. Of course, the used 254 mm (10") filter inserts can be removed and, according to demand, be replaced by other materials. A complete list of all matching filter inserts can be found in the technical data. Activated carbon filters are not washable and are to be changed approximately every 6 months (DIN 1988). In order to ensure a consistent performance of this filter candle the period of time should not exceed 8000 liters (depending on the quality of the input water). This system neither contains any RO membranes (reverse osmosis) nor a ion exchanger. This means the natural content of minerals (which is essential) remains intact to a large extent and the water hardness is influenced only in a small degree.
