The metal band saw is the ideal tool for cutting and machining metal pieces and materials such as iron, steel, aluminium, copper, PVC and more. Thanks to its low weight, the practical carrying handle and a transport lock, the metal band saw is ideal for use on construction sites and for mobile installations. With a motor power of 1500 watts (approx. 2 HP) the device reaches a belt speed of 20-70 m/min. It has a continuously variable speed control with which the speed of the saw blade can be varied as required. In addition, the band saw has a ball bearing precision band guide, with which precise and fast cuts can be made. The swivelling machine head allows mitre cuts and angle cuts from 0-45°, which can be adjusted by a clearly readable scale. The saw blade tension can also be adjusted as required by turning the knob on the front. The saw frame is made of a particularly robust die-cast aluminium. It also has four feet, which provide additional stability and a secure stand. The device is equipped as standard with a band saw blade, a vice and a workpiece stop.
