The infrared heating does not warm up the room air as with gas - or oil heating, but heats up the surrounding objects like walls, furniture and others. The heat is more equally spread and there is less air whirling motion what prevents dust spreading. Thus an infrared heating provides a healthier warmth resp. a more acceptable room climate. Apart from this the infrared heating panel has the advantage that no long pre- and follow-up heating time is necessary and if needed room temperature is at once increased. This is of use in spring and in autumn when there are comfortable temperatures all over the day, but it is rather cold in the evening. Tip: On average about 75 watts per m² are needed to heat a room with a normal room height of 2.60 m. For a room of 15 m² this results in an energy requirement of 1125 watts. Therefore we would recommend two 600 watt panels.
