H-Tronic AL 300pro for 2V 6V and 12V Battery Automatic Charger

This battery charger, designed for continuous charging, realises an automatic, safe, and reliable charging of your lead-acid battery.It thereby prevents bad deep discharge, e.g., by normal discharge (about 1 % per day) or due to insufficient charging periods (short distance operation), overload (too many consumers), and a possibly too low loading capacity of the alternator.The charging voltage can be switched to 2 V, 6 V, and 12 V via a sliding switch. For a short period, the charger will be short-circuit proof and reverse-polarity protected, reverse polarity being indicated by an LED light. Thus, you will immediately have a ready and powerful battery at the beginning of the next spring. The battery charger has been specifically designed with regard to the winter conditions and for charging and permanent charging of lead-acid batteries, charging the battery with a current of max. 300 mA. Depending on the charge state, this current is automatically adjusted; overcharging and dangerous gassing are always avoided.As soon as the final charging voltage has been reached, the current is automatically reduced via the electronic control. Thus, the battery is protected against bad overcharging. A charging control and polarity indicator give information about the correct operational status of the battery charger. The battery charger provides for a careful charging (IU characteristic), it always keeps ready motorcycles, cars, classic cars, ships, campers, tractors, and equipment not used for a longer period of time (e.g., during the winter), thus protecting the battery against harmful deep discharge.Any overcharging of the battery is excluded with this device. This also applies to maintenance-free lead and lead-gel, Exid-, AHG-, AGM-, micro-fleece, and acid batteries.Important:The AL 300 Pro can be used without restriction for motorcycles (BMW up to about construction year 2005 if no software update has been made) disposing of a CAN-bus system.
