Plucking poultry by hand is a strenuous and time-consuming task. Thanks to this plucking machine, it is not necessary anymore to pluck your poultry by hand. The machine is designed to pluck different types of poultry quickly and effortlessly. This way, you can save yourself a lot of time and stress. The powerful machine is suitable for chickens, ducks, geese and light turkeys (up to 2 kg each).The plucker stands out due to its high quality and its 1,500 W power. It is equipped with a stainless-steel drum that prevents the growth of bacteria. This drum has a diameter of 50 cm and is equipped with a water connection. The inside of the drum is lined with several plucking fingers. Thanks to the special structure of the fingers and their arrangement in the drum, all the feathers are efficiently removed. This special de-feathering process, prevents the skin of the birds from being damaged.The stainless-steel barrel spins around, in order to optimise the de-feathering process. With the built-in irrigation ring, water is supplied and evenly distributed in the drum. A large ejection chute has been integrated to facilitate the removal of the feathers. The angle of the feather chute guarantees optimal slipping of the feathers. The combination of fingers, rotation, water and centrifugal force allows a complete removal of the feathers in 20 to 30 seconds.The machine allows plucking 2 to 3 animals in one cycle. However, it is recommended to put only one animal in the drum at a time. If two or more animals are put in the drum, their claws could scratch each other's skin during plucking. In addition, the risk of bone fractures and bone splinters getting stuck in the meat is increased. This could affect the quality of the poultry. For this reason, the following applies: to obtain a perfect result, the animals should be plucked one after the other.In case you put several animals into the machine in one cycle, you should opt for poultry with a short fattening period (max. 40 days). A maximum of 3 of these birds fit into the stainless-steel drum. Heavy fattening animals are excluded, as they are too large for the machine. Please note that the machine is also not suitable for plucking wild fowl. The bottom of the machine is equipped with castors to facilitate the transport and allow a flexible use. For extra stability during transport, the machine is fitted with carrying handles. Attached to the machine is a base plate that prevents hands from accidentally getting caught in the drive belt.The poultry plucking machine is suitable both for private use (at home or on farms) and professional use in small agricultural or meat processing companies.
