The float set prevents sinking to the bottom, thus ensuring discharge of clean water from water tanks, wells, or cisterns as well as natural sources of water, e.g., streams and ponds. The suction set consists of the following components:A float ball made from hard polyethylene plastic (HDPE) with a welded stainless-steel loop. The float ball (diameter 155 mm) is a lifting body that keeps the suction spot close under the surface of the water. Thus, it prevents dirty water and contaminations such as sand or mud from the bottom of the water tank from being sucked in. The coarse suction filter with non-return valve is fixed to the support loop with the help of the fixing hook included.The suction basket made from stainless-steel and having a mesh size of 1 mm filters coarse dirt particles out of the water sucked in, thus protecting the pump from being obstructed. The footvalve, having an external 1-inch brass thread, prevents the suction hose from draining and air from getting into the pump. The valve has a total diameter of 48 mm.The built-in hose spout with external 1-inch brass thread and built-in O-ring made from NBR is best suitable as connecting piece for 1-inch hoses (25 mm). Using the screw-threaded rust-free W4 hose clamp, you will be able to connect your suction and pressure hose in a tight and safe way.The float set, already being entirely pre-assembled, can be connected directly to your domestic waterworks or pump. Simply connect the float set to the pumping system via a suction hose – and clean water can immediately be taken out for domestic or garden use.
