    Popis produktu

Replacement 50 litre stainless-steel pressure vessel for use in sanitary cold/hot water systems, suitable for nearly all domestic waterworks, solar and pressure maintenance systems, and garden pumps. This stainless-steel pressure vessel (type 50 LVS) will be delivered including the EPDM rubber membrane. The vessel is designed for a maximum pressure of 5.4 bar and will be delivered for a vertical positioning. The vessel is checked for tightness with up to 5.4 bar water pressure by the producer. It has a 32.89–33.25-mm (1″) pump connector. The pressure vessel additionally has an integrated valve (Schrader valve/car tyre valve) to regulate the counter-pressure in the space between tank and membrane. These vessels are made of quality-steel sheets and are welded according to UNI-EN standards and equipped with a heat and ageing resistant EPDM rubber membrane. The membrane can easily be exchanged. About ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber:The EPDM rubber belongs to the group of elastomers. This synthetic material is resistant to hot air, weathering, and ozone. The elastomer shows low gas permeability, good resistance to chemicals as well as up to 100 °C heat. Additionally, it is very good noise and shock energy absorption qualities. In the low temperature range, the rubber remains elastic up to −70 °C. It is mainly used for air hoses and inner cores of tyres, bladders, steam hoses, and linings for tanks. Further fields of application are foils, membranes, non-vulcanised sealants and bands.About the pre-charge in the pressurised vessel:The pre-charge pressure should be set approximately 0.1–0.2 bar lower than the switch-on pressure of the pump and has to be checked regularly. Any failure of observance may cause damage on the EPDM rubber diaphragm of the pressure vessel.A more accurate calculation results from the formula “switch-on pressure of the pump x 0.9.” Example: Switch-on pressure of the pressure switch of the domestic waterworks is set to 1.5 bar: 1.5 bar x 0.9 = 1.35 bar. This means that the pressure can be set from 1.3–1.4 bar.Important: The pressure of the vessel should only be inflated or deflated after the pressure to the water system has been released beforehand. Attention: It is necessary to have released the air and water pressure before opening of the pressure vessel!
